Andy Reid says that, barring a setback, DeSean Jackson will play
On October 17, Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson suffered a severe concussion after absorbing a hit from Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson.

On November 7, Jackson will be back. Barring a setback.

"I always leave that open when you're dealing with concussions," coach Andy Reid said. "But he had a great practice and he's been feeling well and ready to roll. So we'll just see, again, I keep those open."

Reid said that Jackson also will return punts, if he plays.

The 4-3 Eagles host the 5-2 Colts on Sunday.

Once Upon A Time, Andy Reid Was A Large Punt, Pass, And Kick Competitor
No matter what you like about football, Eagles-Colts has had something for you. A ghastly-looking hit? Yep. Hand-wringing about those hits? Sure. Impressive execution by Peyton Manning? Okay. Breathtaking quarterback play from Michael Vick? Absolutely.

But the coup de grace has to be the footage CBS showed of a young Andy Reid participating in a Punt, Pass, and Kick competition.

That screengrab is obviously via The Sports Geeks, and if CBS shows it, I suppose it has to be real. But in December 1971, Andy Reid was three months away from turning 14. And that looks like a colossal 14-year-old to me, albeit one with a superb spiral.

Then again, no one has ever accused Andy Reid of being slender.
