Porsche Girl Nikki Catsouras Faceless Death

Nikki Catsouras is known as the Porsche Girl because she borrowed her Dad’s Porsche and smashed it at high speed. This happened on Halloween Day, October 31, 2006. Porsche girl Nikki Catsouras was killed instantly as the Porsche was going too fast at 100 mph and it overtook a Honda that drove at 70 mph. The vehicles were forced into a toll booth. Porsche girl Nikki Catsouras, 18, was decapitated.

California Highway Patrol had its cctv which recorded the crash. It took pictures of Porsche Girl Nikki Catsouras beheaded.

California Highway Patrol policy and the state vehicle code forbids Police from distributing crime scene photos publicly but the photographs were leaked. Two officers, Thomas O’Donnell and Aaron Reich, were under investigation for leaking the Porsche Girl Nikki Catsouras’ photos.

Porsche Girl Nikki Catsouras MySpace webpage was hacked or someone set up a fake MySpace hat belonged to a Porsche Girl Nikki Catsouras. The photos of the Porsche Girl Nikki Catsouras car crash were posted there.

Lesli Catsouras, Porsche Girl Nikki Catsouras’ mother, and her family will sue the California Highway Patrol for $20 million.

To shorten this, a few months later I'd found out -in that time- that he'd already had ONE bike accident where he was revived on the op table and had open heart surgery... Meantime I came in to work one night and someone walked up and said hey; know what happened to... It seemed that he was up to the same old thing but at three AM with a fifteen year old girl on back, racing one of his friends on the highway. He hit a highway abutment head on; the girl was tossed clear(always wondered if she learned anything from this) but he wound up about the same as this child in the Porsche. I find this site repulsive; the photo needs to come the hell down, and I am really holding in on 'language' here as to what I think of calling this young kid the 'Porsche Girl' and coming off as if there is a celebrity status of sorts to this. I've seen a few photos of Nikki, she was beautiful, and although some people believe that her accident will provide a learning experience and a lesson for kids with their licenses and they'll be scared and drive more carefully, I can just about guarantee it won't change a thing. It might make them stop and think and feel bad for her family and the loss they've suffered, but I highly doubt it will change their driving habits.
Unlike others that have commented, I do not feel sorry for Nikki, she made the choices she made and she did what she did, but it should not be put on display as some sort of punishment to her or to star as some sort of lesson to be learned, that is just sick and disrespectful to not only her but her family as well. She is gone, and here her family still remains, having to see this photos and hear some of the vile things people think. But has anyone ever stopped to think, "Hey, you know what? Her family isn't the one that gave her the keys to that car and they certainly didn't force her to drive 100mph and crash, maybe we should leave it alone and keep our opinions to ourselves because they must be in pain and this must be hard enough on them without having to hear all of this"??? Has anyone ever stopped and thought about the fact that while you go around throwing your nose up in the air making your snooty "she's stupid" comments that her family is suffering a loss that you couldn't possibly understand unless you have had the same unfortunate loss??? Has anyone ever stopped to think about the fact that just because what she did was stupid doesn't give ANYONE the right to flash these pictures of someone else's daughter to prove some type of point??? Although I feel no sympathy towards Nikki or the choices she made, I do feel a great deal of sympathy for her family. They are the ones that have to go on with life day after day and look at pictures of her they may have in their house and they are the ones that break down and cry at night because of this tragic accident. Everyone making these comments are on the outside looking in, but what some people are doing is ONLY looking in and basing their opinions on how they feel, they aren't stopping to think about what her family feels, they aren't even processing the thought of how it feels to be on the inside looking out. I don't know about anybody else, but I do know that I'm much more appreciative to be on the outside looking in, because I can't even begin to imagine how it is to be on the inside looking out, and to be perfectly honest, I don't ever want to have to experience the feeling.
People really need to think that maybe the family is upset with these photos because they don't want to see her like this. Has anyone ever thought that maybe her family doesn't want to remember Nikki like this, and that maybe they don't want anyone else to remember her like this???
Maybe they would like Nikki to be remembered as the beautiful girl she was, and not some horrific piece of history put on display for everyone to criticize.
Before you post a comment on how stupid you think she is or how you think this photo should be ok to expose to everyone, maybe you should stop and think about how you might feel if you lost someone you loved, and how much worse that might be if pictures such as this one were out in the open for everyone to make their little comments on. I am fortunate enough to live in a city where we have an excellent public transportation system so I have no need of a car. Yes I'd say everyone who commented wanted to see just how bad it was. When you hear about a family actually trying to get a photo of video removed from the internet it's bound to make you curious as to how bad it really is whether it's a death or some sex scandal. A friend sent me an email that told part of the story and showed a pic of Nikki holding some flowers so I googled it to see what else I could find and to see what the family was so upset about. I could never imagine seeing any of my family members in such a manner and I know the image will haunt me for the rest of my life because it is quite gruesome. I will not make any comments on my thoughts about the girl because I can see where both sides are coming from Yes she did drugs and that was awful but She had brain damage before the drug use from having had a brain tumor so I can't say how I really feel as I think I'd have to consider everything for quite a while to come up with an informed opinion of the situation as it pertains to Nikki herself. But I do think anyone who had any shred of decency would not have posted such a picture as if it were a game or something funny to look at. It is a very serious event no matter how you look at it and I do hope that perhaps at least 1 kid might not drive under the influence or perhaps will stop texting while driving after seeing this photo. I know many kids will think it could never happen to me but we do not give our teens enough credit sometimes. There are more mature teens out there that may take this and use it to protect themselves from dangers on the road including our own stupid decisions we make sometimes.; May 2, 2009 4:57 PM

She was high on coke that night, and I don't understand why the parents didn't force her to get help. They said they were looking into getting a therapist, but this girl needed instant action the moment they found out she was doing drugs. Considering how rich they are, they could have afforded to send her away to the best drug rehab centers out there. Yes, she was 18 but she was living under their roof. If they had the power to take away her car keys the night before the accident, then they could have had the power to push her into rehab. And there are many other things they could have tried to do. I don't know why parents sit back and don't try with all their might to stop their kids who have drugs or drinking problems.

I also find it very wrong what the cops did, letting it leak without the permission of the parents. Cops are suppose to protect us, not do this. But I also do not see it justified the parents deserving $20 million dollars either. What money does the person she clipped on the free way get. What about their pain and suffering? They luckily didn't die, but many articles I google state she hit someone else, she just didn't randomly spin and flip out of control. It was side swiping the person in front of her that caused the whole mess along with speeding.

But I do believe the parents deserve to win a right to have the photos taken down from the internet at the least. Yes, Nikki messed up, but she does not deserve her photos out like this. It's not just being used as a scare tatic, these pics are being placed on porn sites. They are being laughed at and in her death she's being called names. What happened respect for the dead? Most of all her family doesn't deserve to be tortured by these photos, specially her younger sisters. It was Nikki's mistake, her fault, with her parents partially to blame for not getting her drug rehab. But still, they should not be punished. And people are torturing them by emailing them and texting the photos repeatedly. They make fake tribute websites and the post the pics amongst the middle of her normal photos so that the parents would accidently see them. That's the worst part of it all, the way the cruel people are acting.

Think and feel whatever you want about this girl, even if people find her to be stupid or something. But harrassing and sending the parents and little sisters things is just plain wrong. Some time after her father received an email with the images, with horrible captions that only a sadistic person could possibly send. Now, simply out of curiosity I see its fine to look at these images, if you can handle them maturely. Sites have posted many of these images as jokes, which I find absolutely appalling. I don't even know what to think, or how this family could possibly feel after such a tragic loss.
